I’m a college student at Northeastern University and needed help moving from my dorm in Fenway to an off-campus apartment near Mission Hill. I was honestly nervous about finding someone reliable on a student budget, but 617 Boston Movers were amazing. They showed up on time, packed up everything (my books, desk, clothes, and way too many boxes), and got it all to my new place without any damage.

Your Trusted Local Movers in Boston

When you search for "Boston movers near me," our team is right here! Headquartered at 215 Condor St, Boston, MA 02128, United States, we're never far from wherever your move takes you. Since our team is also based in Boston, we know this city block by block. We also serve surrounding areas, including Cambridge, Somerville, Chelsea, Brookline, Quincy, Medford, and more.

We bring smaller trucks or vehicles and angle furniture through tight turns in Beacon Hill's cobblestone streets and narrow brownstone stairwells, so your move can happen safely. Similarly, in the North End, permit parking disappears fast, and centuries-old buildings weren't built for modern movers. Therefore, we scout loading zones and building access before your move day.

Furthermore, Allston and Brighton flood with people moving every September 1st, since thousands of leases turn over at once. We book crews weeks ahead, allowing us to plan for peak demand during Boston's busiest moving season.

Wherever you're heading in or out of Boston, 617 Boston Movers already know the ins and outs!

Moving can be such a pain, but 617 Boston Movers made it super easy for me. I had to move my one-bedroom in the North End, and these guys really knew what they were doing. They showed up right on time, kept the vibe fun, and worked like champs. Everything just flowed without a hitch, even when I had to put my stuff in their storage while waiting for my new place. No stress at all, and when it was finally time to move in, everything was exactly how I left it.

Moving a household of four—plus kids and pets—is no easy task, but 617 Boston Movers made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. From carefully labeling the kids’ toy boxes to disassembling beds, they stayed organized and thoughtful every step of the way. My wife really appreciated the extra padding they used for our mirrors and artwork. The movers were friendly throughout, and nothing ever felt rushed or careless.
